Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using MiniRec, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this platform.

Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily use MiniRec for personal, non-commercial purposes only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

• Modify or copy the materials
• Use the materials for any commercial purpose
• Attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on MiniRec
• Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials
• Transfer the materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server

This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by MiniRec at any time.

User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access MiniRec and for any activities or actions under your password. We encourage you to use "strong" passwords (passwords that use a combination of upper and lower case letters, numbers, and symbols) with your account.

You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

User Responsibilities

As a user of MiniRec, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete information during account creation and assessments
• Use the platform only for intended educational purposes
• Not scrape, reverse engineer, or automate the service
• Not manipulate or game assessments or recommendations

User Content

Our platform may allow you to post, link, store, share and otherwise make available certain information, text, graphics, or other material. You are responsible for the content you post on or through MiniRec.

By posting content on MiniRec, you grant us the right to use, modify, publicly perform, publicly display, reproduce, and distribute such content on and through MiniRec. You retain any and all of your rights to any content you submit, post, or display on or through MiniRec and you are responsible for protecting those rights.

Educational Disclaimer

MiniRec provides personalized educational recommendations for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee success, admission, or job placement based on our recommendations. Final decisions should be made with the guidance of qualified academic or career professionals.

Fair Use Policy

To keep MiniRec fast and sustainable for every student, we apply a monthly Fair Use Policy (FUP) limit to AI-powered recommendations. Each active subscription includes a soft monthly cap that resets on your subscription renewal date.

• Your soft cap is defined by your plan and may be updated from time to time. The current cap is shown in your dashboard usage card.
• When you reach the cap, new recommendation requests may be temporarily blocked until your next reset date. You will still retain access to your previous results.
• We may cancel or roll back erroneously counted usage in cases of failed or duplicate jobs.
• We reserve the right to adjust limits to maintain platform health and equitable access for all users.

Disclaimer

MiniRec is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaim and negate all other warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.

Intellectual Property

All content, branding, assessments, algorithms, and recommendations on MiniRec are the property of MiniRec and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not redistribute, republish, or replicate any content without explicit permission from MiniRec.

Account Termination

MiniRec may suspend or terminate your account if you abuse the platform, violate these Terms, or for any other reason at our discretion. You may request account deletion by contacting us at terms@minirecc.com.

Prohibited Activities

You may not access or use MiniRec for any purpose other than that for which we make it available. MiniRec may not be used in connection with any commercial endeavors except those that are specifically endorsed or approved by us.

As a user of MiniRec, you agree not to:

• Systematically retrieve data or other content from MiniRec to create or compile, directly or indirectly, a collection, database, or directory
• Make any unauthorized use of MiniRec, including collecting usernames and/or email addresses of users by electronic or other means
• Use MiniRec in a manner inconsistent with any applicable laws or regulations
• Engage in unauthorized framing of or linking to MiniRec
• Upload or transmit viruses, Trojan horses, or other material that interferes with any party's use of MiniRec
• Use MiniRec in any manner that could disable, overburden, damage, or impair the site

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice via email or on-site banner before any new terms take effect. We recommend reviewing the Terms periodically to stay informed about changes.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Dispute Resolution

Before initiating any legal action, you and MiniRec agree to resolve any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms through mediation or binding arbitration in Nigeria.
